Speaking & Facilitated Dialogue
Patti Ann Talbot facilitates conversations in educational, nonprofit, and mission-aligned settings that explore courage, hope, encouragement, and intergenerational leadership. These engagements are designed to create meaningful reflection and collective insight rather than one-directional presentation. They offer creative ways into real talk about what matters, and they help groups translate encouragement into lived practice.
Speaking & Facilitated Dialogue
A shared language for courage, hope, and encouragement
Practical ways to set the conditions where courage can grow
A clearer understanding of how inner work supports outward leadership
Simple, creative pathways into deeper dialogue and decision-making
An invitational approach that honors autonomy and does not over-direct
Common Themes
You Don’t Have to Be a Hero to Be a Changemaker
A grounded invitation into everyday courage and meaningful contribution.
Encouragement as a Discipline That Grows Courage and Hope
A practical reframing of encouragement as something we practice intentionally, not something we offer when it is convenient.
Intergenerational Leadership in Complex Times
How women lead and relate across difference, while honoring identity and building shared strength.
From Inner Piecework to Collective Peacemaking
How inner peace and inner power become the source of outward courage, and how individual piecework strengthens the collective patchwork.
Formats
These engagements can be designed as:
- Facilitated dialogue sessions for organizations, communities, and groups
- Workshops and learning experiences that introduce the Piecework model
- Lunch-and-learns that combine teaching with small-group discussion
- Changemaker Circle introductions and starter sessions
- Book-centered conversations and retreat sessions (as Piecework moves toward publication)
An Example Format: Lunch-and-Learn + Small-Group Play
A common format includes a short introduction to the Piecework model followed by small-group conversation using the STITCHES game as a light, creative way into real talk about what matters.
Groups can be larger overall, with participants moving into smaller groups for play and guided reflection.
Invitation
If your organization, community, or group is looking for an interactive, courage-centered experience that strengthens encouragement practices and deepens meaningful dialogue, mission-aligned invitations are welcome.
